What’s a DIY blog doing with a cookbook?
That’s an excellent question, and if you’re new around here, here’s the scoop:
When To Work with My Hands launched in November 2013, it started with just a handful of DIY projects, but gradually grew to include quite a few topics during the first years of publication.
By the summer of 2016, you could find posts on gardening, goal-setting, DIY projects, kitchen and organization tips, four running series on: herbs, bread baking, garden plants, and the sweet spots of life, AND a variety of time-tested and family favorite recipes!
Needless to say, the content was broad.
During that summer I made the difficult decision to narrow the focus, eliminate all but the DIY posts, and take the blog back to its original roots.
It was a good decision, but dropping so much content wasn’t easy, and I had lots of inquiries and request for favorite recipes that were no longer on the blog.
After so many requests, I decided to collect, edit, and compile the recipes, making them available in a handy and convenient ebook.
I’m so excited to release The To Work with My Hands Cookbook, containing 51 favorite recipes that have been enjoyed over and over in our home and in the homes of early blog readers.
