Several weeks ago I heard from a reader who told me she was recently retired and was renewing her interest in creative projects.
With more time on her hands to “entertain her creativeness” (don’t you just love that?), she’s begun exploring the huge range of ways to be creative and deciding which ones are good fits for her, and which ones are not.
I was so glad to get her message because it was actually something I had just been thinking about.
You see, I’m a creative junkie!
That doesn’t mean that I love every creative pursuit that I’ve ever tried – or that I excel in those I find that I do enjoy.
What it does mean is that my bucket list is probably longer than my lifetime.
So when this fun-loving reader shared her plans with me, I decided it was time to make a list because I doubt the two of us are unique.
Of course, a list like this could never be exhaustive; there’s so many ways to be creative!
So instead of trying to make it exhaustive (really – do any of us have a lifetime that long?), I’ve made a list that covers seven areas of creativity.
Regardless of where you are in life, I think you’ll find plenty of inspiration for new areas to grow your creativity.
(Some projects overlap, but to keep things simple I’ve only included them once.)
