Share the Joy
Part of the joy of working creatively with your hands is sharing it with others. Whether you share your finished projects or enjoy the making process with someone, there’s a connection that develops when a hand-made item is shared.
When To Work with My Hands launched in 2011, Hannah was 3-1/2 years old. Growing up herself and watching a blog grow has gone hand in hand for her.
From watching what happens behind the scenes, to being a sweet little encourager when I’ve struggled, and cheering me on when we’ve experienced a win, Hannah has been a part of the blog for as long as she can remember.
And she’s a Maker!
Making Something New
Last year I began brainstorming about how I could involve her more fully on the blog. She’s already helped with several projects, and has copied ideas from the blog to create her own. She feeds me ideas, and loves to get her hands into her own unique projects.
No longer that toddling little 3-year old, Hannah now has the ability and desire to be a fun and vibrant addition to the To Work with My Hands online presence.
A Brand New Series
When I shared my idea with her, she was ecstatic! I’m so excited and thrilled to welcome my Mini Maker to the blog in a fun new series we’ve developed for To Work with My Hands.
These projects will be simple, inexpensive crafts we design together. They’re perfect for Little Makers who enjoy getting their hands into creative projects.
They’re also a wonderful way to build your current relationships, or to make a positive and lasting impact in the lives of new little friends.
I hope you’ll enjoy these projects with the Little Makers in your life as much as we enjoy bringing them to you!
