If you’re anything like me, fall happens, you blink, then it’s time to put up the Christmas tree!

Christmas is my very favorite holiday season of the year, and I simply adore all the lights and colors – and am honestly a little giddy when it’s finally time to decorate.
I also have a thing for DIY-ing my own decor pieces. There’s just something incredibly satisfying about making your own – especially when it doesn’t break the bank.
This year I’ve collected 7 of my favorite easy DIY Christmas projects that all come from repurposed, thrifted, or dollar store items. Use them to craft a few new pieces for your collection – or as idea starters to design your own.
You don’t have to spend a small fortune to decorate for the Christmas season. And when you DIY them yourself, you’re going to make something that’s uniquely yours – and you won’t find that in any store!
Browsing thrift stores, yard sales, and flea markets are good ways to find items that you can repurpose into creative Christmas decor. I have a whole series of posts that share my best hacks for finding great pieces when you thrift shop. You can find it here.
