Hi, I’m Karen, and I’m so glad you’re here!
I’ve been a Creative for as long as I can remember. It started with homemade toys and projects crafted with my grandmothers during my preschool years, and crochet lessons from one of them when I was 7.
Even from those tenderest years, I found so much joy and satisfaction in working with my hands.

During the years of babies and toddlers, I found it harder to fit creativity into my life and for the most part, put it on the back burner. When I did make time to do something creative, I was always amazed by how “recharging” it was. It refueled my spirit as I worked to serve my family.
Most of my projects during those years were simple – crocheting baby afghans for each of my kids, and sometimes for friends and family.
And it was during those long days/short years of life that I learned how important it is to make time for creativity and how to fit it into my busy life.
Now that my baby isn’t so much of a baby and I have more flexibility, I still use the same methods I learned over 20 years ago.
I love getting my hands into a creative project and I’m passionate about helping other Creatives find inspiration, encouragement, and practical ways to do the same.
I’d love to be a part of your creative journey too, and welcome your questions or comments, and invite you to subscribe to the newsletter for fresh and creative inspiration right in your inbox.
Thanks for stopping by.
