I’m so glad you’re here.
You know, some people think you either have creativity or you don’t; that you’re born with it – or you aren’t.
I believe we’re all wired for working creatively with our hands and minds in some way or another. And just as exercised muscles will strengthen and grow, exercised creativity will too.
You’ve got it in you.
It may be strong or it may need some exercising – but it’s there!
Who I Am
Hey there! I’m Karen, and my passion is to encourage and inspire Creatives to make time in their busy lives for getting creative with their hands because I learned from a mistake I hope you won’t make too.
I spent most of my young-mothering years putting my creativity on hold because I thought I just didn’t have time for it. (You can see my family here.)
Along the way, however, I learned something important:
During those rare times that I did make time to be creative, I discovered that my energy and enthusiasm for the demands of raising lots of little ones was bolstered. Being creative wasn’t just a self-indulgent pursuit; it was an important part of equipping me to be be a better wife, mother, and person.
You see, when we make time for the things that fuel our spirits and really refresh us – even if the investment is small – we’re better able to pour ourselves into others with enthusiasm and joy!
Making time to explore and enjoy your creativity isn’t a luxury – it’s an important part of taking care of yourself and those around you.
